Loudoun Internal Medicine Associates (LIMA) was founded in Leesburg in 1986. We moved to Lansdowne in 1997 and have been growing since.
Our experienced and certified Internists include Geetha Pillai and Richard Kim, both Fellows of the American College of Physicians. Combined, our three physicians have over 100 years of experience in Internal Medicine.
LIMA was an early supporter of Nurse Practitioners in Internal Medicine. We act as a training site for local programs. Most of our Nurse Practitioners received part of their training within this practice.

Hormone Replacement Therapy
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy may help the body return to optimal levels and help you feel like yourself again. During a brief in-office visit, the insertion site is numbed, a small incision is made in the upper buttocks, and the testosterone pellet is inserted. See this page for more information.

Women’s Health
We are by your side. The experienced practitioners at LIMA are able to help with birth control, gynecology, breast/ovarian health issues, mammography, menopause-related problems, bone health and heart disease. LIMA is also a Biote Certified Provider for hormone replacement therapy.
Men’s Health
LIMA practitioners can help men live their best lives. We offer a variety of consultations and treatments, including Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Administering testosterone has helped thousands of men feel better. Dealing with the symptoms of low testosterone, such as fatigue, muscle weakness, reduced sex drive, night sweats, or weight gain.
Adults
Our focus is on keeping you healthy. Annual exams are a great way to ensure you stay well. We will be sure to go over your health history and follow-up on any needed immunizations and treatments. If there are long-term issues, we will always keep up with your progress.
Seniors
We are currently accepting Medicare patients. Our services to seniors include: routine exams, preventative screening, assessing family history for risks, and Wellness Visits. Plus, we accept most major Medigap insurances. Find out more on our Medicare page.
